VP R&D
This newly created Vice President R&D role will lead the development and successful scale up of all new bakery products and technology initiatives and serve as a catalyst for disruptive innovation opportunities across all laminated dough, specialty breads, muffin, biscuit, bun, pastry, bagel and freezer to oven food segments that drive value and growth for the organization. This role provides technical input across all functions of the organization and operates as a technical sales liaison to ensure that all products and solutions developed successfully complete the sales process from inception to project close. Minimum of 15 years in Innovation, Product Development, R&I, R&D-related roles and management of diverse and highly functional technical teams, a proven history of developing and commercializing quantifiable and profitable solutions resulting in direct business impact to the bottom line. M.S. in Food Science, Food Engineering and Agribusiness Management preferred. Bakery technical background including laminated dough baking experience. Must bring customer-facing leadership experience in a B2B environment with a track record of success working cross functionally.
